Project OVERVIEW:
The
goal of this project is to bring together and strengthen collaboration between
companies and HEIs through the development of courses in Innovative Green
Energy Technologies for Green Buildings. INNOMED will also promote regional
collaboration by delivering courses that can be accepted and executed by all of
the region's courtiers. Through the virtual classes, students from various
nations in the region will be able to communicate with one another. The courses
will employ fresh learning methodologies and pedagogical approaches that will
pique the interest of the younger generations. Finally, the chance to practice
distant learning will benefit students, particularly those from the region's
rural districts. Mechanical engineers, environmental engineers, architects, and
urban planners are the target groups.

is coordinated by Universita Del Salento .
The Specific Objects are:
1-
Solar Energy Network among
institutions involved in solar energy to promote HEIs and enterprise
collaboration.
2-
Accredited professional and career
oriented diploma on solar energy technologies and applications (vocational
training package for engineers) with the true integration of enterprises
3-
Integration of some modules of the
developed courses within existing bachelor programs in Engineering
4-
Capacity building for academic staff
on recent solar technologies and application and new teaching methodologies
(i.e. blended learning), to let them acquire the needed knowledge and skills to
teach the diploma.
5-
Establish Solar Energy labs for
solar energy experiments
6-
Instill the awareness about the
possible and economic applications of solar energy, through dissemination
activities
7-
To exploit the results by organizing
knowledge transfer events to other practitioners.
