Civil engineers are trained to methodically find engineering solutions to design, environmental and construction challenges with the responsibility of serving and maintaining the wellbeing of the general public. Civil engineers seek creative solutions to the complex issues facing the world today; they design, construct, operate and manage the basic systems that make civilization possible and yet preserve and protect the environment.
