Diving unit

The diving unit is run by the young, active and fully supportive diving Instructor (PADI-MSDT) Abdullah Al-Momany. Responsibilities of the unit are: maintenance and well keeping of the diving equipment, training and rehabilitation, assisting in the fieldwork and sample collection. The diving unit of the Marine Science Station is authorized to teach PADI courses upto the advanced levels.

 Research Boats

  The MSS owns and operates five boats dedicated serve researchers, technicians and students in the fieldwork at sea. The boats are equipped with all necessary equipment needed for environmental monitoring and marine research (see  physical oceanography).
