The International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience. It's a non-Profit organization that aims to provide a true chance for the technical specialities students to enrol in an internship program that provides them with a solid technical experience, a diverse cultural exposure and a lifetime trip to a totally different country.

IAESTE in Jordan:

The IAESTE office in Jordan is located at the University of Jordan's Training Office at the Faculty of  Engineering and Technology. It was first established in 1979 as a step to connect the engineering students to the world. Now after 32 years it has exchanged more than 500 students and ranked in 2010 at the General Conference the 32 out of 86 LCs competing. IAESTE Jordan has succeeded in hosting the General Conference in the year 2008 for the 60th anniversary of the IAESTE, and was by far the best General Conference ever held for the IAESTE.

IAESTE Jordan is run by the National Secretary Dr.Ghalib Sweis, the training office's executive secretary Suzan Al Masry and a team of students that work as volunteers helping enhance the exchange of IAESTE Jordan by raising offers and hosting the incoming interns from all over the world.
