Objectives:-

   The major objectives of the department can be summarized as follows:-

1-     Educating students in the fields of conservation, restoration, documentation, rehabilitation, and management of cultural resources.

2-     Providing students with the basic knowledge of all necessary procedures concerning conservation and management in the laboratory and museums.

3-     Training students in the main skills necessary in conservation and restoration of cultural properties in both the field and laboratory.
