The Faculty of Nursing aims are:
- Graduating qualified nurses able to meet the health care needs of the person, family and community.
- Developing the body of nursing knowledge by conducting research at the national and international level.
- Promoting nursing education, practice and research, both nationally and internationally, through scholarships, research, training programs, bridging programs and exchange programs.
- Preparing advanced practitioners able to practice in a variety of nursing specialties.
- Developing faculty and faculty members through continuing education and scholarship programs.
- Utilizing the latest technological advancements in education and practice.
- Enhancing the quality of nursing and health care services through collaboration with national and international agencies.
- Disseminating nursing knowledge and experiences through national and international conferences, workshops, seminars and training programs.
- Facilitating interaction with the community through various activities, including voluntary work.
- Taking part in policy-making related to the health care delivery system at national levels.
