  The Faculty of Medicine was established in 1971 as the first medical school in Jordan. Over the past thirty years, the Faculty has grown in staff and capacity to be one of the leading medical faculties in the region, and to accomplish an excellent reputation worldwide. In fulfillment of the University mission, the Faculty's graduates have achieved and maintained leading roles in terms of medical education, scientific research and community service.

 

The main training venue for the Faculty's students is the Jordan University Hospital (JUH). Nevertheless, medical students are also trained in other medical centers in Jordan that include the King Hussein Medical Center, Queen Alia Hospital and Al-Bashir Hospital.
