Mission and Vision

The Department aspires to excellence in teaching and research through commitment, equity and diversity. Our goal is to create and to disseminate new and factual knowledge in the areas of Horticulture and Crop Science by educating and mentoring
undergraduate and graduate students with emphasis on most recent technology. Students can study plant propagation, greenhouse and nursery crop production, organic farming, post harvest handling, breeding, physiology, and biotechnology, all leading to numerous careers in both public and private sectors.
