Research Completed

Conducting an analytical study for the application of the "Waraqati" project through gathering the most frequently asked questions about women and children's rights in the Jordanian legislations. Participation in Conferences

Participating in the Women's Dialogue that was supported by videoconferencing and streaming linking participating sites in the USA, Jordan, Ghana, Kenya, and Lithuania. At its heart was an interview with Mary Robinson, former President of Ireland and former United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights and a well-known figure in respect to women and leadership issues. This interview was followed by a local discussion in each of the local participating sites where participants discussed the topic of women in leadership in the local context with others taking part in the Dialogue in their local site. The event included an open moderated discussion with Mrs. Robinson linking participants in all sites. Upcoming Conferences 12-16/4/2009 />
Participating in the annual "Insight Dubai Conference" that is promoted by Dubai Women's College uniting 50 female students from universities and colleges around the world with 50 students from DWC discussing issues on women's empowerment and women's roles in governance and leadership. 13-16/4/2009
 
Participating in the activities of the "Fifth Cultural, National and Jordanian Conference" in the University of Jordan. The Center's participation will be in the following two dimensions: "Women's Role in Economic Life" and "Women and Political and Social Work". >
