The Office was established in 1985 to render services to the University faculty members, administrative staff and students. Besides facilitating travel arrangements, the Royal Jordanian Office offers special discounts to the University community on all flights.

Furthermore, the Office takes care of the University of Jordan visitors who come as visiting professors or who attend a University-sponsored conference or activity. The Office issues them their return tickets which they can collect from the Royal Jordanian Office in the country of their origin and also tries to facilitate matters pertaining to their travel arrangements and reservations.
