The University owns and runs a fairly large number of flats (of different sizes).

hese flats are located on campus (the north-eastern part, in particular, which is almost in the middle of a small wood of pine trees), and are intended to provide short-term accommodation, at a reasonable rate, for faculty members, administrative staff, and visiting professors. Presently, the apartments are undergoing a serious face-lift to make them more suitable and attractive. The rent is fairly inexpensive compared to housing off-campus.
