Hamdi Mango Center for Scientific Research (HMCSR) serves as independent university unit dedicated to the support of interdisciplinary as well as well-defined research project in the fields of Applied Science and Technology. Established in 1999 at the University of Jordan, with a continuing gracious grant by the late Mr. Ali Mango, and guided by the Center Council, the center hopes to channel material and financial support for researchers dealing with scientific and technical problems of fundamental importance. A new building was constructed and it will open at the end of this year 2008.
