UJ will be ushering in the 2015/2016 academic year by welcoming 120 new faculty members to its family, bringing the number of full-time equivalent academic staff to 1790 from all academic ranks. Of those, 24 are on sabbatical leaves from different universities around the world, 10 hold the rank of professor and 9 are associate professors. 10 will be joining UJ’s Aqaba Branch.
These new appointments reflect UJ’s vigorous implementation of its development strategy and quest for global distinction and internationality.
The new faculty members shall bring to UJ a plethora of expertise and knowledge across a range of fields that will expose students to new educational and research methodologies, and enhance UJ’s research productivity.
