UJ Students Elect their Representatives
With a record turnout of 57% of the more than 40 thousand UJ students, 93 student representatives out of 437 candidates were elected to the Student Union.  The Faculty of Rehabilitation Sciences had the highest voting rate of 89% while King Abdullah II School for Information Technology had the lowest rate of 44%.
Candidates' posters, slogans and flyers presenting their proposed agendas spread across campus during the election campaigns.  Lively debates were also held among candidates. The elections were covered widely by local and international media outlets.
