The Faculty of Pharmacy held an oath-taking ceremony for final- year students at the Faculty.
Prof. Talal Aburjai, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy spoke at the ceremony and expressed pride in the future Pharmacists who have been equipped with science and knowledge at a faculty that holds excellence as its slogan.
Aburjai noted that the Faculty was founded during the reign of the late King Hussein, may God rest his soul.
"I erg our students to keep the oath and undertake the mission and lift up Jordan," Aburjai said, pointing out that the ceremony coincided with the celebrations of the University's Golden Jubilee.
Aburjai expressed aspiration that students have gained knowledge enough to take the first step towards a bright future.
Students took the oath after Dr. Mayada Shehadeh, promising to practice of their profession with honesty and sincerity.
From her part, top class student Aman Ishaqat shown gratitude to her parents and faculty members.
While Bara'a Hussein, Majdi Ajlouni and Rawan Othman shown recognition to all who have helped them during their study years, pledging to carry the banner of science and assume responsibility entrusted to them, dedicating their success to their families and teachers.
The Ceremony took place at Al Hassan Auditorium, at the Deanship of Student Affairs.
The Ceremony also featured various paragraphs, which included the presentation of pictures of graduates during their school years, and the narration of a humorous story about students' journey at the Faculty of Pharmacy since the first year.
At the end of the ceremony, Dean Aburjai handed gifts to the class and congratulated them on this occasion.
