UJ, Ohio University discuss developing mutual cooperation


The President of the University of Jordan, Prof. Ekhleif Tarawneh received in his office today Dr. "Teresa Franklin" and Dr. "Douglas Franklin" from the Ohio University.

Prof. Tarawneh examined with the delegation In the presence of the Regional Director of the Arab Group for Education and Training, Dr. Bassem Sarayrah, ways to expand horizons of cooperation.

The two sides discussed holding workshops for faculty members in the field of information and communication technology, in order to provide adequate training in the use of technology in the development of education and effectively benefit in the evaluation and improvement of the educational process.

Tarawneh stressed the importance of expanding the horizons of cooperation in various fields, pointing to the possibility of launching joint programs with the University branch in Aqaba to support the orientation of the University towards raising the educational performance and provide academic competencies for the branch to ensure the desired educational outcomes.

It is recalled that the University holds in collaboration with Ohio University a one year graduate diploma program of information and communication technology in education, in coordination with the Arab Group for Education and Training for more than 6 years now.
